Toblerone: According to Swiss law, the Swiss-owned Mount Mathon is going to be removed from Toblerone packaging.  This is the reason

Toblerone removes the Matterhorn from its packaging when part of the chocolate production is moved from Switzerland to Slovakia.

The pyramid-shaped column that reflects the Alpine peak is to undergo a reformulation in labeling.

They state that the use of national symbols to promote dairy products that are not produced exclusively in Switzerland is not permitted.  For other raw food items the limit is at least 80%. 





In a statement to the BBC, Mondelez said it was moving some production outside the country "to respond to growing demand around the world and to grow our Toblerone brand for the future". 


Toblerone, a mountain-shaped chocolate made from Swiss milk with honey and almond nougat, was first sold in 1908 in Bern, the capital of Switzerland.

After much criticism, the company returned to its original form two years .
